Collapsi News! Here is what's coming!
Here is what is on the docket for a future rule book update:
- a better explanation of the rules for the 3 and 4 player game (which is proving to be quite popular!)
- a better explanation of the shifting game
- finalization and inclusion of the solo rules
- a scorekeeping method suggested by Gregg Jewell (needs more testing and feedback from players)
- and there are more people that need to be added to the Thank You section
My plan is to do one major update with all of these included changes. This will take time, but I would rather do one big update then a bunch of little ones.
There are a lot of cool things happening with this game. Thanks to an Itch member named Sentinel65, I should be able to produce a PDF of solvable puzzles for the solo game using a java script Sentinel shared with me. Players will be able to print the pdf and check off the puzzles as they solve them. This person has also created an excellent web implementation of the game which can be played here.
I think the final piece of news I have is the development of a 3D printable version of the game. For now, my cousin and I are developing the two player game into a travel-ready tile version. The plan is to make the print available for free/donation on Itch. Personally, I would love to see the 6x6 game get the same treatment, but I cannot make any promises.
Looking forward to what's coming!
